Overview
CapAd Communications, Inc. is an innovative telemarketing management company with extensive experience working with political campaigns, non-profit organizations, trade associations, and corporations. As your strategic partner, we will help identify needs and provide solutions to effectively interact with your target audience, whether they are voters, legislators, association members or consumers.

CapAd Communications was started as a political telemarketing firm. It prospered in the ultra-competitive campaign arena by emphasizing exceptional program quality and reasonably priced programs. CapAd Communications has retained these same qualities in the association and corporate arena.

The CapAd Communications team brings you the experience, teamwork and track record of many successful telemarketing programs. Your contact with our firm will always be with one of its principals. [TOP]

Why CapAd?
We know what it takes to win. Our telemarketing programs work successfully using several basic principles:

Matching needs with capabilities. With numerous phone centers around the country to choose from, we are able to match the specific needs of your telemarketing program with the strengths of our phone centers.

Creative solutions. Next to being in-person, a phone call is the most intimate medium of communication. CapAd Communications prides itself in tailoring innovations in technology and programs to make your calls memorable.

Responsiveness. Coming from the campaign arena we understand the importance of flexibility and make it a priority to respond to the changing needs of our clients.

Competitive prices. While quality and service are paramount, CapAd Communications will always be competitive on price for any program. Always. [TOP]

Why Phones?
What makes personal contact superior to any other form of communication is the human touch. People listen more intently to a human voice, particularly to someone like themselves. They are more likely to hear your message, remember it and act on it. We never forget that at CapAd Communications.

It’s two-way communications. Being able to ask and answer questions is a vital means of taking the pulse of your target audience. You can gather critical data, impart important information, persuade, and sell…quickly, efficiently …like no other means.

Phones are flexible. Phones are more adaptable than any other means of mass communications. Script changes can be made in a matter of minutes to increase the effectiveness of a communication. As circumstances change so can the message, the target audience, or the type of program that is being run…quickly…without the loss of valuable time.

When speed matters. Phones can play a vital role when there isn’t time for to create a new ad campaign or start a direct mail piece. There’s immediate feedback with a phone program so you know when to adjust a program to get the results you want. Best yet, you know you’ve reached your audience…one-on-one. [TOP]

Case Studies
Infinity Broadcast Corporation. In the aftermath of the September 11th tragedy, Infinity launched a national fundraising effort for the victims. The announcement of a toll-free pledge line was met with overwhelming support, so much that Infinity’s capabilities to handle the incoming calls was overwhelmed. CapAd Communications quickly responded and set up another toll-free line, staffing it with hundreds of operators. Infinity’s program raised over four million dollars for firefighters, police and emergency medical technicians affected by the tragedy.

Missouri “No On Proposition B”. The coalition to stop a statewide concealed weapons initiative was going to fail unless it could motivate new voters to vote against the initiative in huge numbers. The solution? CapAd Communications drafted a tough as nails phone program to motivate female voters under the age of 45 to vote “no” on the initiative. Women turned out in record numbers and the NRA was defeated for only the first time in eleven similar initiative campaigns.

Alex Knopp for Mayor of Norwalk. Polling two weeks out showed the race to be a dead heat between a 14-year incumbent and a strong challenger. In a tight election where voter turnout spells the difference between victory and defeat, the incumbent has an advantage. To counter this inherent advantage, we recommended multiple GOTV rounds on election eve and Election Day instead of just one, to insure that identified supporters voted in the off-year election. The result? Supporters got to the polls in record numbers resulting in a resounding 62% victory for Alex Knopp.

Colorado Senate Democratic Caucus. Needing five seats to take the majority, the Caucus had to win all of its targeted races to reach its goal. Turning out Hispanic-American voters was the key to victory in every race. CapAd Communications suggested a program that included multiple GOTV calls to voters and automated calls from Colorado Attorney General Ken Salazar, a prominent Hispanic leader. Even though George Bush won the state by over eight percent, Colorado Democrats swept into control of the Senate…the only legislative body in the country to turn Democratic in 2000. [TOP]
